Physical geography in the context of general geography. The Earth as a part of the Solar System: Geographical consequences. The atmosphere: Composition and dynamics. The oceans and seas of the Earth. The animal and vegetable kingdom. The alteration of the Earth's surface. Natural surroundings of the Earth. Man and the physical medium.
